Sitting at Ultegra / XT level in Shimano’s hierarchy, the RT-MT800 Internal Lockring Ice Tech Center Lock Disc Brake Rotor is designed to dissipate heat as much as possible for better, more consistent braking performance.

The rotor is made from a 3-layer sandwich of stainless steel and alloy which helps spread the heat out away from the braking surface, reducing the temperature by as much as 25%. This temperature reduction prevents the heat build-up that can cause brake fade and inconsistent power and the surface design of the rotor also helps with cooling and aids pad longevity.

  • Deore XT and Ultegra grade RT-MT800 Ice Tech rotors give excellent performance
  • The clad steel / alloy / steel rotor construction allows heat generated from braking to radiate quickly through the aluminium core achieving surface temperature drops of around 50°C. When used with Ice Tech pads surface temperatures can drop from around 400 to 300°C, this provides great improvements in performance all round
  • Ice Tech rotors achieve long pad life, less noise and less fade due to improved heat dispersion
  • Using the proven Shimano Center Lock system for excellent rigidity and security with an easy set-up
  • Rotor contact surface has been developed for excellent pad clearing and cooling which increases pad performance and life
  • Large forged alloy spider supports rotor surface, increasing rigidity and reducing weight

Once dispatched, you'll receive automated email notifications with your delivery details and tracking information.

    The delivery times listed below are only estimated times of arrival from DISPATCH:

    • Europe: 3-6 working days
    • UK & Ireland: 2 working days
    • *North America: 3-5 working days
    • Australia & New Zealand: 4-7 working days

    BestBikeWheels' SPORT & GRAVEL wheelsets feature a *3-year warranty for rims, hubs & spokes that backs you against material or construction deficiencies and begins from the date the wheels are confirmed delivered to your place of residence. 

    Please note the BestBikeWheels Warranty:
    • is only applicable to the wheelset's first owner
    • is void if the product has been modified without prior approval for modification.
    • is not valid for wheels obtained / used for commercial purposes.
    • is not applicable to wheels that have been installed, adjusted, or maintained incorrectly.
    • reserves the right to offer an equivalent or upgraded model as a replacement if your original wheelset is no longer available or discontinued.
    • does not cover damage caused by crashing, accidental damage/impacts, or overall abuse to the product.
    • does not cover regular wear & tear. Such small parts typically include bearings, spokes, nipples, braking tracks & rim tape.
    * Your statutory rights are not affected, 3 years in the EU also.
